Spencer Studios are one of Australias' leading decorative paint finish
specialists. Decorative Painting, otherwise known as "faux" painting
(from the French word "fake"), is a time honoured art which has changed
little since the middle ages and was particularly popular during the
Renaissance. Today, using improved modern products we are able to
achieve the same beautiful results.

In 1988, Shara Spencer-Jurss decided
to take advantage of her art degree
and travelled to the States to work
for and learn from famed Faux Artists,
Emmerling Studios.

Brother Wayne soon joined the
Emmerling team and later he and
Shara set up in Australia to develop
Spencer Studios in 1990.
